Same workshop, same care since 2005

Dursunlar Makina is a CNC machine shop in Sultanbeyli, Istanbul, turning and milling precision parts since 2005. We handle every job in-house, from quotation to delivery, and produce each part to its drawing or sample.

What is CNC machining?

Machining removes material from a metal or plastic block with cutting tools until the required dimensions and surface finish are reached. On CNC machines this is computer-controlled, so the same part can be produced repeatably from the first piece to the last.

On a CNC lathe the workpiece rotates while it is cut — ideal for round parts such as shafts, bushings, flanges, pins and fasteners. On a CNC milling machine the workpiece stays still and a rotating tool cuts it — used for plates, housings, covers, fixtures and mould-type parts. Many parts go through both.

Materials

We machine steel, stainless steel, aluminium and engineering plastics. Stainless steel is hard on tools, heats up during cutting and causes dimensional and surface issues if the wrong cutting conditions are used, so we choose tooling and strategy for each material and pay as much attention to finish as to dimensions.

Ultrasonic horns, fixtures and filling-machine parts — jobs where dimensions and material choice are critical — are product groups we make regularly, alongside machine spare parts and other custom components.

From drawing or sample

For jobs with a technical drawing we review it, confirm material, tolerances and quantity and send a quotation. If there is no drawing, or you have an old or broken part, we can measure the sample and produce from it. Prototypes and one-off parts matter to us as much as series work.

Urgent jobs and overflow capacity

When a part is holding up production or the deadline is tight, we prioritise the job and deliver a fast solution. We also take on contract machining for companies whose own machines are fully booked.
